Client Brief:
Client wanted us to develop an e-learning portal for accountants offering various courses and subscriptions. Client asked us to add such functionalities where candidates can register themselves on the website for free and can buy courses to take respective exams online. Further, he also asked us to add functionalities so that once the candidate is through the exam; they can download the certificate in PDF format.

Our Endeavor:
According to the client's choice we have developed the e-learning portal using CakePHP framework. Students can register on this portal for free and can buy courses depending upon his/her requirements. We have also enabled the students to browse through the courses available on the website. The "buy" button available there will help them to avail the courses smoothly. In the "My Account" section of student profiles, they can see various lessons of the course, can start lessons and can also take exams. As they pass each lesson they are taken to final exam page. Once they pass the final exam they can download the certificate also which is available in the PDF format. We have added such functionalities so that admin can manage courses, lessons and question in web forms as well as can also import excel sheets. Admin can view detailed reporting of student activity in terms of payment made course purchased and lessons completed.
