Client Brief:
Client approached SynapseIndia with a requirement of designing & developing a standard website where users would be able to use the social networking stuffs like 'making friends', 'groups', 'communication',' wall', 'blogs' etc. Client told us that he want an admin panel with some rich functionality manage all there. He also said that the site should provide features to 'sell' and 'buy' virtual stocks (WeStocks) for virtual money (WeMoney/We$). Neither WeStocks nor WeMoney will be connected to real Money or Stocks. WeStocks and WeMoney will be used for training and entertaining purposes. The project also required to add a "Trading" module, where users can get bonus points on different levels like after registering, making a friends, sending message etc. Using those bonus points users can buy and sell the WeStocks and get the deal between other users. They can see their portfolio and accounts using some reports on the site. Also, client asked for Autotrading functionality with brokers who get deal automatically without any user interaction (buy &sell).

Our Endeavor:
The project was basically about designing and developing a website where users would be able to use the social networking stuffs like making friends, creating groups and join groups, communication with uses on the site, posting and sharing thoughts/ links/ images on wall & blog; also there was a part with the virtual trading concepts. We have made rich feature on the admin section for managing the content with two different languages. We have added image storing functionality with three different levels. For cropping features, we have used the Ajax and Jquery to handle many pop up screens on the site as well use the fusion chart for better display for stock reporting. Apart from that, we have added an Autrotrading functionality where admin can make the broker and assign him some westocks and deal the trading (buy & sell) automatically with each brokers. We have made the service where some regular action can be executed with the defined interval set on the admin section. Client provided us the PSD files for design and we had to work on the HTML. We have used Javascript & Jquery for providing adequate design to the site.
