Client Brief:
Site Objectives: To allow public to comment on their perceptions of bias in the media. The belief is not that bias is necessarily bad but that it should be upfront and transparent. The site lets the broader public add transparency to that dimension of the news. Whether there is a
perception of "corporate media" bias from the left or "liberal media" bias from the right, both
sides should understand the inclinations of respective news sources, blogs, and other media vehicles. Company's mission is to make transparent these biases through public deliberation.
Our Endeavor:
We have to modify few sections of the website (http://www.skewz.com). Skewz is a Web 2.0 site that
enables a community of interested users to comment on the political biased (real or perceived) associated with specific news stories, which are posted by members of the community. Conceptually,
the site is similar to popular sites such as digg.com.
