Client Brief:
Nemichand Bamalwa & Sons is one of the leading jewelers in India. Based in Calcutta, the firm is a family business centuries old, engaged in manufacturing, retailing, wholesale, export and import with business interests across the globe. We were handed the responsibility to create the website for the family business. We were asked to ensure that the website exuded the feeling of traditional jewelery in general and of the family business in particular.
Our Endeavor:
We designed and developed the graphics and the look-and-feel of www.bamalwa.com. The site displays an extensive range of jewelery ranging from pendants to rings. It satisfies potential site visitors in every respect from displaying their range of jewelery to ensuring that customers who have placed orders can check out the status of their order. To build brand value and to ensure a synonymy of the brand name with jewelery, we introduced special sections like "Jewelery and Culture" and "Taking care of Your Jewelery". We also host the site on our shared server along with annual support services. The site is under-construction for some sections.
